SSC JE Tier-1 Exam Postponed
SSC Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination (Paper-I) 2019-20, scheduled to commence from 30th March to 2nd April 2020 has been postponed due to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak SEE OFFICIAL NOTICE in India. SSC JE Exam Date 2020
The exam dates for SSC JE 2019-20 has been released by SSC along with its Official Calender 2019-20. As per the notification, the Tier-I exam was scheduled to be conducted from 30th March to 2nd April 2020 but due to complete lockdown in India all exams are postponed including SSC JE Paper-I exam. SSC JE 2019-20 recruitment notification has been released by SSC on 13th August 2019. The Online Registration for SSC JE 2019-20 was started from 13th August 2019 and the last date to apply online was 12th September 2019.

The overall Vacancies for SSC JE 2019-20 exam has not been declared yet by Staff Selection Commission of India. A total of 1601 vacancy has been declared for SSC JE 2018-19 Exam. Let's have a look at the SSC JE Previous year vacancy:
SSC JE 2020 Exam Pattern
SSC JE 2020 Exam will be conducted in two phases. Paper 1 will be of 200 marks and paper 2 will be of 300 marks. Both paper 1 and paper 2 are Multiple Choice Questions. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate in both the papers.According to the recent Exam Pattern, candidates appearing for the post of JE (civil), JE (quantity surveying & contract) should attempt Part A (civil & structural) of paper I & II.
On the other hand,candidates appearing for JE (electrical) need to attempt Part B (electrical) & the candidates appearing for JE (mechanical) need to attempt Part C (mechanical) of Paper I & II.
